- Review methods for finding and identifying the area of rectangles/parallelograms, triangles, trapezoids, rhombi’s/kites and circles (including circumference for circles).
- Use real-world shapes and have students compute the area for these shapes.
- Students brainstorm on how circumference and area will be displayed in their presentations.
